International search is announced for Sevinj Babayeva appearing in scandalous video shared by ex-rector of shut down Azerbaijan International University, Interpol website reported on Tuesday.
No information is provided concerning law enforcement agencies announcing international search for her and criminal case under which she is wanted.
The video with former Azerbaijani University rector Elshad Abdullayev and MP Gular Ahmadova was spread by online media outlets on September 25. Abdullayev gave a large sum of money to Gular Ahmadova to become elected as a member of parliament. The Baku City Prosecutor's Office has filed a criminal case under Article 178.3.2 of the Criminal Code in this regard. An investigation is underway.
