Unilever, Kraft, Heineken, Nestl?, Carlsberg, and Coca-Cola to name but a few submitted products, whilst small independents such as, ?Officina della Birra? ? Artisanal beer from Italy and ?Simon Martin`s? ? Spanish Ham?went under scrutiny of the 125 leading International chefs and sommeliers.

The iTQi receives products from countries around the world, including culinary giants such as France, Spain and Germany as well as ?some of the smallest including Fiji, Nepal and Luxembourg, whilst ?160 products were submitted from Japanese companies, all looking towards receiving an iTQi award, increased brand awareness, as well as increased sales and ?seizing potential export opportunities.

The range of products submitted to the iTQi are also as diverse as the countries themselves. Greece for example submitted a delicacy called ?Grey Mullet Bottarga, whilst Marusu Kamaboko Kogyo Co., Ltd. submitted a fish, egg and cheese based dessert!

Countries and companies around the world are benefiting from the iTQi, isn?t it time British food and drink producers took advantage?
